Stats – are many views by the same person counted as separate views?

  Some questions concerning the number of views showed on the stats page:

  If the same person looks at the page several times on the same day, is that counted as several views?

  If so, how can I find out how many different persons looked at the blog on a specific day?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey,

  In your stats there are two main figures: Visitors and Views.

  Views is the number of pages somebody has seen (so one person might view 3 pages).

  The Visitors figure is the actual number of unique people who viewed your blog, regardless of how many pages they looked at.

  Thanks, that helps a lot! Do you know if it is so that views by myself are not counted? If that is the case, how is “views by myself” defined, is that views from my IP-adress or views when I am logged in?

  Your own visits aren’t counted if you’re logged in to your account. If you’re not logged in, the visit/views will reflect that.
