Stats bar charts not loading

  For 2-3days the bar charts showing day/week/month stats will not load. On the Dashboard home page the bar chart is present as usual lower right. on Site Stats all page details load except for the central major bar chart that shows the grey W symbol with revolving edge. Viewing the wordpress.com home page that features the new Stats page – the same occurs. All data shows except for the bar chart. Is this a universal current problem, or specific to my blog
