stats being driven by bogus referrals
-
I’m not a big bog site. I’m pretty new at this but I have noticed that when I look at my stats for any given day… almost all of the visits come from two web pages that I don’t understand. It will tell me that people clicked on links from these pages to get to my site and when I click to see what the pages are, it’s almost always a bogus website that says the page has been suspended. The web address to one of the pages is [spam link removed]. Is anyone familiar with this? Is there a way to get this to stop? I would like to know what my real traffic is coming to my site but it’s hard to tell when so much of it is supposedly coming from these two links.
Thanks in advance,

there are dozens of threads on this – no danger to your blog or your visitors – report the links to staff to help them with their filtering effort. DO NOT POST THE LINKS IN THE FORUM – it just gives the links extra Google juice.
They are a nuisance nothing more – also – don’t click on the links –

thanks for the input. I will def stop clicking on the links and it’s good to no it’s not causing any harm. How do I report it to the staff?
