Stats broken or blog blocked?

Hi may I join this thread, as I did not get a reply to a separate post yesterday?
My stats in the last few days have dropped 70-80%. This is dramatic and there has to be a reason. It’s starting to concern me.I also have an image of Michelangelo’s David in one post (in this very serious academic blog!!). Can mine also have been marked as mature?

Thank you very much. This kept me awake until way into the night, because it is basic. My English blog is read by “kids”, but certainly not by little kids. The American word “kid” is not well defined. -

I do not think that the picture itself would get the “mature” rating. That post of mine is 3 or 4 years old, but it was only recently that I decided to say something. I think now I will delete the remark as out of place.I spend all my time writing, but 80% of my hits come from pictures. When Google changes its pictures around, I gain or lose hits. I have just had a look at your blog……. you ever looked at your search keys?
Let’s say you have a post on the death of Socrates and begin to get hits. You might find that people have been looking for “pic of poison tea” :-)

Thanks. I know what you mean, but the hits that come from pictures do still seem to be coming, just in dramatically smaller numbers. Like with you, 80% of my traffic is from pictures.
I’d love it if staff could assure me that there is no block or restriction that I am unaware of — because an 80% drop does not look like a blip.

None of your blogs are marked mature. Since this is a significantly different question (Stats), could you go back to your original post and mark “modlook” in the tag area in the right-hand sidebar?
