Stats don't reflect activity

  I’ve had a number of people follow my blog since starting it but my stats don’t reflect this activity. They only show when I’ve gone to the blog to check out how it looks.

  Does anyone know why my stats aren’t showing any views aside from my own?

  It’s really frustrating as I have a new blog and want to see whats going on with traffic.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If people subscribe and read your blog in the reader, they aren’t counted in stats. I agree, this is annoying.

  That is annoying!

  So what exactly is considered a ‘visitor’ in WordPress stats then?

  A visitor is some one who actually goes to your blog to look at it. Seems most people look at blogs through the reader, which doesn’t count towards your stats.
