Stats errors: 2 likes from 0 views, repeated over multiple days

    Hey, there, tech support team.

    This is Alex and I got a problem with the blog at thesimplecopy.wordpress.com.

    For quite a few days, I see in the daily stats something like: 2 likes and 0 views.

    The specific problem is that I can’t get a report on the views I have on my blog.

    While this may be a low traffic blog for now and some stats errors are expected, no view stats at all means that I can’t even evaluate how much traffic does it really have, and if it’s growing or slowing down.

    Also, not having feedback on which posts people read and which they skip prevents me from knowing what to improve and what to cut off, so the blog grows.

    It’d be really helpful if you could look into it and fix it for me.

    Hi Alex,

    Your stats are working correctly.
    People can actually like your posts without visiting them – they can do that from the Reader or directly from the notification bar on their account.

    Sounds a bit awkward to me, but of course, technically speaking visiting is not the same as reading. I got that.

    This blog’s stats have behaved differently than all my other wordpress blogs, from the very start. They keep puzzling me. ;)))

    Nice to know you still work with WordPress. I remember you helped me some time ago.
