Stats for followers

  Followers get notifications of a new post through an email. They can then read my blog post within that email. The stats aren’t recorded this way. How am I supposed to know who is reading it? Is there a way for the email notification that a new post is available to only have a link to the blog? Not list the entire post in an email?

  What I have done is to reduce my RSS feed to “summary” on this page > Settings > Reading and that compels my email subscribers to click in and read the post on my blog.
