Hi @unnecessarywisdom, can you confirm you’re referring to the share count near the bottom of your post, on the sharing buttons?
I see Facebook shares. Twitter stopped showing share counts, so those won’t appear.

Yes, I am. Some of my posts had been shared several thousand times. And then some changes were made to this platform and those numbers were lost.

Nothing has changed recently on WordPress.com in this regard.
The share counts that appear on the sharing buttons do not come from your stats. We get those directly from the service whose button is being used. So the share count that appears on the Facebook button is the number Facebook sends to us for the number of times the particular link has been shared over there. If Facebook is sending the wrong number, that’s a problem on their end, not ours, and not something we can fix from this side.
