stats graph is wrong?

This is kind of random, but in my dashboard I see that the statistics graph displays 30 blog views for today, but when I click on today’s date to see information about what people are clicking on the most, it reports 79 blog views. Is there some reason for the discrepancy?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    i had similar experiences.

why is it so important to have 500 clicks or 4000 clicks?
feeding the ego or using the computationally multiplied power of electronic structures to fight for animal rights, justice and forests?
today i tried to find out if the wp stats are true but this question is related
to general philosophical aspects of reality, statistics, virtual reality, illusion, perception,
populism, medial reality, consciousness, emotional needs, egoism, altruism, pop, anonymity,
    media multiplicators,.,.,.,(?((?)?)?))??)????????)

    …..so probably ill give up.

when i started using the free online wordpress there were about 5 million users
some weeks later the official starting page showed up about 200000 users of wordpress.com

there is a reason why i really would like to use the wp stats
and i really love this tool : i can see what people were looking for, and i can choose an article
or a page as starting page.
the statistics show that people mostly look at the starting page, can i manipulate them?????

Doh! Hits mean readers (mostly) – and being read is why I’m blogging. There is absolutely no point otherwise. So, yes, hits (clicks, if you will) are of considerable importance to the serious blogger – without them, and the knowledge they impart, we may well be blogging into a black hole, and that would be futile.

Er, no. Stats are numbers, pure and simple – nothing esoteric about them at all.

WP stats are mostly reliable but no system is perfect and sometimes there are problems. My experience today suggests that there are problems with WP as a whole – that’s what I came here to check on – I’m still looking…
