Stats History – All pages have views, except one.

One of my pages is not showing up in Stats counts – no idea why. It records no views at all (ever), even though every other page has hits. The page that doesn’t show up also happens to be the one page that I use for posts – it has one sticky, and one regular post.

Thanks in advance for any helpful advice!

  • Hi Mazzamura,

I just clicked through all of the pages on your menu so my clicks should show up in your stats today. Your Nam June Paik menu item is not a static page, so from what I understand it will not record stats as a page, but views there will count towards overall views.

Why don’t post/page views add up to total views?
Post/page views are included in total views, but there are many views to your site that are not a post or page URL. The front pages, category/tag/date/author archives, and searches are all examples of other views that only count towards total views.

Here’s the stats support doc I pulled that quote from if you would like to read through it for more information: http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/

    Hope that helps!
