Stats in Google Chrome

My statistics are not loading correctly in Google Chrome. Most of the bars on the bar graph are not displaying, however when you hover over the day/week/month, the bubble pops up with the amount of views. Sometimes the bar will highlight when you hover, but not always.

    Hi there!

I just checked out your stats page and the hover highlights are working as expected using Chrome v.27. For the gaps in the bars, that is showing that you didn’t have any views or visitors to your page that particular day. If you’re logged into WordPress.com, your own visits to your blog will not be counted as a page view/visit.

if you click the “summaries” link on your stats page, the last grid at the bottom of the page will show you the daily totals for visits each day – and you can see there are days with zero visits/views. Here’s where you can find that link to your summary page:

I hope that clarifies things! Let me know if you have any questions.

I understand that there won’t be any bars when there are zero views, however the bars are not there even when there are views. If you go to this link, http://wp.me/P3tdBc-2y, I have uploaded a screenshot of how my stats page looks to me. As you can see I am hovering on June 1 and there are supposedly 24 views, but the bar is not visible. There are multiple days like that on the graph, not all of them are zero views.

Thank you for that screenshot – that helps!

First, please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://browsehappy.com/

If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

If it is, please do these four things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

    2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

    3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

    4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

Thank you, but nothing seems to be working. My browser is current, I’ve cleared my cache and cookies, third-party cookies are enabled, I temporarily disabled add-ons, and I enabled HTTPS. The stats page does work with other browsers, it is simply annoying because I only use Chrome.

    Thanks for your help.

Ok, I just logged into your WordPress.com stats page under your username and here’s what your stats page looks like for me (I use Chrome too):
    http://d.pr/i/JVIa

So there’s one more bit of troubleshooting I’d like you to try – to see which resources are loading slowly (or not at all), please follow these steps to get HTTP headers output:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/advanced-browser-troubleshooting/#google-chrome

That will give us more information on why the stats page is not fully loading for you.

Thanks for your help while we sort this out!
