Stats include email subscription?

  Can anyone tell me if the “views Per Day” stats include email subscriptions (i.e. when that person reads the post via email)? Just curious. Thanks!

  WordPress.com stats record Page Views and if there is no click into the site from the email then there is no Page View stat.

  What is a page view? A page view is a request to load a single page of an internet site that results from a page request from a web surfer clicking on a link on another HTML page which is pointing to the page in question.
