Stats inconsistent and recorded strangely…

  Tonight, the stats #s indicate 5 hits but 1 visitor, but the country stats indicate 2 from US, 2 from Philippines and 1 from another country. Another day, I started the afternoon with 24 visitors and 33 hits and ended the afternoon with 27 visitors and 34 hits. These are common discrepancies. Iʻm trying to increase traffic to my blog, and lately Iʻm not sure how to interpret the statistics when theyʻre not consistent or sensible. Any help?

  I have this issue too. I notice new Views from new countries, but the Visitor number doesn’t change. It seems very odd and I’m not sure how accurate the stats are now. Would like to know more.
