  If someone uses a mobile phone to access a blog whilst abroad which country shows in the stats. Is it the one the phone is registered to or the one where the phone is located??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The country stats are based on the IP address of the device accessing your site, and that is determined by the network you’re connecting to. So it’s based on where the phone is located when it accesses your site.

  Keep in mind that for your own site no stats will be recorded if you’re logged into your account while viewing your site on you phone, same as when accessing it from your computer.

  Thank you for the info. I was just curious as I know someone who accesses my blog is visiting abroad (although still in Europe) I couldn’t understand why the stats said they were still in the UK.

  That all depends on their network. If they’re roaming on their home cell phone network they may very well still be connecting via a server in the UK, which would make it appear as if the view is coming from there.
