Stats issues
-
Perhaps I am not understanding how the stats accumulation system is working lately.
My stats have been off for some time. They seem to have almost completely disappeared.
What indicates to me that there is a problem is that under the daily stats “referrals” page, I will often have several likes and admitted reads by others on FB because I post my blog entries on FB and Twitter from time to time, yet my referrals numbers for FB will be at zero for that day even though there are Likes and people tell me they read the piece, which I then verify by asking them about the content with questions, which indicates to me that my visits as referred are not being tabulated.
Do I need to change some sort of setting?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Referrer stats are working correctly for your site, and I can see several Facebook referrals in your stats from earlier this week.
But we can only show a referral for a view if the browser of that visitor to your site sends us referrer headers. If someone uses anti-tracking add-ons in their browser, or even using the browser’s built-in settings to prevent cross-site tracking in some browsers, those headers are not sent, meaning we don’t have that data to display in your stats.
In fact, someone can even use browser add-ons to disable our stats tracking from logging their views of your site at all. This is something that affects all analytics services on the web, even Google Analytics, and not something we can do anything about.
