    The Stats module of the Jetpack Plugin does not appear to import data from the WordPress.com Stats Plugin that it replaces.

    And have check the stats in my wordpress.com and now, all my WordPress.com Stats Plugin data appears under a “locahost” blog and the jetpack new zero-data is under my thalskarth.com.ar.

    Why did this happened? will i loose all my stats?
    Blog url: http://www.thalskarth.com.ar

    Howdy,

    Unfortunately, WordPress.com stats do not transfer over to WordPress.org installs. This is because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two separate entities and your sites have two separate URLs.

    However, your WordPress.com URL should still display its Site Stats on your Dashboard.

    I think you didn’t understood me.

    Mi site URL is: thalskarth.com.ar. I’ve used the “WordPress Stats Plugin” for 3 years collecting stats.

    Yesterday i’ve installed the Jetpack plugin. But it didn’t imported all my older stats. Now i have all the stats in zero.

    And, when i go to https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs to see my linked blogs it appears:

    * Thalskarth’s Maëlstrom http://localhost –> With all my old stats
    * Thalskarth’s Maëlstrom http://www.thalskarth.com.ar –> With only the today’s jetpacks stats

  • The stats are linked specifically to your domain.

    It looks like you were still set to localhost when you installed the WordPress.com Stats plugin and had of course had the correct domains set by the time you installed Jetpack.

    Unfortunately, this means that you had two separate sites as far as our system is concerned, and the two cannot be combined.
