Stats not adding up

  I get notification letting my know that people like my blog post but my Stats for the day does not increase with every like,if they like my post surely they must have visited my blog ? my blog is http://www.johninspirational.wordpress.com

  People can Like a post by clicking the Like link in their Reader. They don’t have to visit your post.
