Stats not adding up

Stats: visitors and views do not match. Tonight lists 1 Visitor 8 Views; however, under visitors there are four countries: Australia (4); Russian Federation (2); The United Kingdom (1); The United States (1). This is not the first time this has happened.
There was an earlier problem still waiting to be resolved where I received emails of Likes; but none shown on the post until much later.

Our stats system worked, as designed, in this case. It correctly counted the clicks to your site. It occasionally happens that your stats are representative of a glitch elsewhere on the Internet.

If I understand this correctly, clicks are counted, but visitors to the site are counted by a certain time period – i.e., if they have visited in the last 24-48 hours, they are only counted once even if they visit multiple times? So, my stats on a fresh new day could read one visitor but the countries could show 4 visitors? Thank you.

It seems your stats have already been updated. Please carefully read the guide mentioned in my previous reply to learn more about stats.
