Stats Not Available

I have had my blog up for several weeks here: http://dancingonacacias.wordpress.com/.
I have other blogs and even when there has been no traffic, I have still seen the stats chart in my dashboard showing no visitors.
On this blog, though, my dashboard has consistently shown a message that says Stats Not Available For This Time Period.
Can anyone tell me why I am receiving this message? The blog is listed as public, and I have submitted it to Google and Yahoo.

It takes time for search engines to index 4- 6 weeks. Have you used the process set up by wordpress.COM with the major search engines for verifying your blog ownership? http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
