Stats not recorded
-
I think there is something wrong with the statistics recording of my blog. They are either not updating or not being recorded. I tested with a different IP to confirm that the visitor and view isn’t being recorded. Please look into this.

lets let the staff look at it – I have flagged this for their attention
a few things – the number of visitors is a lagging count as it takes a while for the checking to be done to see if someone has visited your site already today – so the visitor count can be delayed by a few hours

We did have some issues with the processing time for visitors counts a few days ago, which may have contributed to the discrepancy in stats you mentioned. This should be resolved now although, as @auxclass mentioned, there is generally some delay in stats being fully reflected in our system.
I checked over your stats and am no longer seeing any discrepancy between the number of countries and visitors. Can you let me know if this looks good on your end now too? If not, we’ll be happy to look further.

I don’t think that the stats are being recorded correctly, because i frequently get like notifications but those users are not reflected in the stats. For example, I’d see 4 likes from certain users, but they would not be included in the stats. I’ve given it time in the past and checked after a day or so, the stats are still not logged properly.

Hi @mahakamalchaudhry! I’m sorry for the delay in reply here.
It’s worth noting that people are able to like your posts from the WordPress.com Reader, without actually opening the post fully. Such cases aren’t tracked as views in your stats, as your site wasn’t technically visited by the person who liked it. This can cause a discrepancy between likes and views that you mentioned.
Let me know if that helps to explain the situation or if you have further questions.
