stats not working right

I don’t think my stats are working right. I am showing for like a week 15 to 18 views a day and then for the last two days there are zero views showing. I know this isn’t possible because I post links to my blogs on twitter and facebook and people have liked the links and “favorite” them and also re-tweeted them. So I know they have been seen at least a few times.

Our stats are not real time stats. For details see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/ and note the views and viewers take hours to update. Also note that those who follow your blog in the Reader or by email and share your posts there ie. they don’t have to click into the blog unless they wish to.
Likes and shares and reblogs and follows are not page views. In fact, likes, shares and reblogs are completely misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can “follow” your blog, “like”, “share” and “reblog” your posts in several locations such as the Reader, without ever clicking into your blog and creating a single page view stat.

You can control the length of the entry sent out on your RSS feed here > Settings > Reading. Choose the “summary” setting for your RSS feed rather than to “full text”. That will compel followers who are not using mobiles to click into the blog to read the full post which will create a page view stat.

I used to have the same problem. I have mentioned about this problem in forums as well. Register on stat counter. It gives a better analysis. The wordpress stats don’t provide correct representation.

Following up on that not that you could use a free third party non-JavaScript stats program called sitemeter. http://www.sitemeter.com/ or your can use statcounter http://statcounter.com/
Make sure you get the code for the non-JavaScript version and copy and paste it into a text widget. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/

My stats do not seem to be recording properly today. I know for a fact that more than one person has been reading my content today, but views continue to climb while only a single visitor is detected. And yet there are more than 30 referrers and several different views from different countries. Is there a problem with my site or something going on with WordPress stats today?
Any help would be appreciated for my site, civicbee.wordpress.com -thanks!

My stats are broken today. It says I have only had 1 visitor but 158 views.

My stat are also broken today… they say just 7 visitors and 97 views and I can see that there is more than 7 visitors cause they come from more than 7 different places… The blog with this problem is:
