Stats off by several hours

  My stats counter is showing hits for 12/12 which won’t be rolling around for another 5 hours. I have noticed that the day seems to change over mid-afternoon CST, which means that I don’t get a very accurate idea of how many hits I get on an average day. I have checked my time settings and they are showing the correct time and date. Any ideas or is this just a WordPress.com thing I should get used to?

  I’m getting that too, but I think it’s GMT time, because I’m EST and the day resets at 7pm for me, which would be midnight in England. Just my guess…

  I have the same thing and have also played with the different times, and it shows the correct time, and date.

  The day rolls over on GMT in WordPress.com. Time displays in your blog are for calculating when YOU wrote/published posts. All stats are calculated with new days starting at GMT.

  For me, in PST, my “new day” for the stats starts around 3 pm. :)

  Actually, make that 4 or 5 pm on account of DST.

  I don't get a very accurate idea of how many hits I get on an average day
  It’s the same 24 hours every time for the stats. It’s just not at midnight.
