  Hi! On the stats page, it’s listed:
  Visitors views
  Views
  Visitors
  Likes
  Comments
  Posts & pages
  Title
  Search terms
  File downloads
  Countries
  Clicks
  Referrers
  Authors
  Author views

  What do the Authors and authors views activity signify? It does not seem to relate to what I view. Thanks.

  That section is for if you have multiple people with permissions to create posts on a site. Then you can see whose posts are viewed and how often. If you are the sole owner of the site then the author means you. The views refer to the number of views by visitors to specific posts of yours (rather than views of the Home page).

  Ok, thank you. Should it ever differ from the views listed in the initial views visitors section? I am the only author. Thanks.

  Taking my site as an example (I don’t get many views these days..) so far today I have had 19 views via 8 countries according to the Posts/Pages box on the right (6 of which are classed as Home Page/Archives). The Author views on the right show 13 views so (as Home page views aren’t classed as Author views) everything adds up for me.
  PS: Remember stats aren’t updated in real time so changes can take time to show.
