Stats page is confusing

I might be asking something really stupid here, and I’ll blame it on the flu that I’ve had for the last three days if I am, but…

I’m on the Stats page for my wordpress.com blog. At the top there is a (pretty) bar graph showing the number of readers over the last couple of weeks. Today’s bar says “Views:7, Visitors:1, Views per Visitor:7”.

Below and to the left of that is a (pretty) world map showing me where my viewers come from. It says “United States:5, United Kingdom:2”.

No matter which way I try to make heads or tails of this, the map is telling me that I’ve had at least two visitors today… right? But the bar chart says I’ve only had one.

Am I correct in assuming that the bar chart has it incorrect?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Our stats are not real time stats. Note the views and viewers take hours to update and rectify.

Ahhh, that’s too bad, but it does explain it.
