Stats Plugin doesn’t except API key

    This is all really confusing for me. I’m trying to use the new stats plugin for my hosted blog at http://thefarreaches.legendsfromthevoid.com/

    I followed the directions and entered my wordpress.com API key, which works for Askimet, and I get the following message.

    The owner of that API Key (jdbahnsen) is not on the access list for this blog. When this blog was registered, a different API key was used. Have the owner of that API key visit the stats page on wordpress.com and add you using the form at the bottom of that page.

    It’s rather confusing trying to use the wordpress.com dashboard. I can’t find any way to do what the message says to do. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

    Best bet is to send an email to:

    support at wordpress dot com

    That or send in a request through the “support” tab in this forum
