Stats Question

  I have a question about stats that I have noticed several times before. I will get notifications that someone on wordpress “liked” my blog post, but when I go to my stats page no visitors/views will be listed. For instance I posted a blog a few minutes ago and have received notifications that two people have liked it, but so far my stats page says that I have had no views today. Just curious as to why this is

  Likes are not page views. In fact, likes and shares are misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can “like” and “share” your posts in several locations such as the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat.
