Stats Question: Are “Views” Unique?

  As in ‘total views’ and ‘views today’ ect. Are these unique views, or if someone views a page twice does it count as two views?

  Is there a stat or a way to get a daily unique view count?

  You can use Sitemeter or Statcounter, but be sure to use the HTML-only versions. The javascript versions don’t work here.

  I was wondering one thing. My views referrer doesn’t match exactly my overall views of a day.
  Any idea? Because I don’t think anybody has my direct adress…

  wordpress stats will not count you when your logged in, many counters will.

  If someone has a feature on their browser to shut off javascript, it may not register a hit on your blog.

  Its typical for stat counters not to agree.
