Stats reading zero when I know there is activity

    A few weeks ago, the jetpack function disappeared from my blog – http://www.alocalista.com, which is wordpress.com blog, not independently hosted. As a result, no stats are appearing when I log into my account. It says that my views, etc. are 0 but I know that my friends and family have been reading it, as they personally made comments.

    1. What should I do to make it so my stats are tracking page activity again?
    2. Do I need to do something with jet pack to resolve this? If so what?
    3. Should I pay for a 3rd party stats tracking mechanism? If so, which one is recommended.
