Why is the Stats recording my own views and visits even after I disabled the WordPress.com toolbar?

    WP.com: Unknown
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hello there,

Traditionally, your own visits are not logged when logged in.

What is the URL of the site you’re working with?

Greetings and thanks for replying and letting me know about the visits!

But I meant more specifically the views of certain pages that I clicked on were recorded when I was logged into the Jetpack app for iOS with my WordPress.com handle @flynnspawsmew, which is connected to the URL site under https://flynnspaws.me.

I’m assuming, (and I do NOT know for sure, if when I temporarily turned-on the “Enable the WordPress.com toolbar” found under the General Setting), that the views and NOT necessarily the visits were recorded and that the system took its slow, sweet time to stop recording even after I turned-off this feature within minutes.

  • Can you reach out to our mobile app team in the app by going to “help & support” and using the contact flow there?

Let us know if you have any trouble.

Okay, thanks! Once again, I think the syncing was delayed somehow. I can see now the current stats no longer reflects my views and/or visits from the WordPress mobile app for iOS.
