Stats showing yesterday are no longer showing today for Sat June 28th.

  I had visitors to my site yesterday as I was keeping an eye on the stats. But these stats are not showing up any longer. Why?

  Hi Sofia!

  Can you make sure your time zone is set correctly on your blog following the instructions here?

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/general-settings/#timezone

  Perhaps the visitors you mention were actually registered on Sunday, June 29th on your blog due to the refresh of the stats, which happens at midnight according to your time zone.

  Hi, thanks for your note. I have checked and made sure it says London. I saw the stats for yesterday (Saturday) when I took a look at the end of the day yesterday. Today’s (Sunday) stats are showing but Saturday is now showing zero. That’s my confusion? Sofia

  Hi Sofia,

  Do you remember any of the details about the stats you saw for Saturday (about how many views/visitors were showing up)? That will help us investigate this for you.

  Hello. There were 5 or 6 viewers that I recall. I didn’t check at the end of the day though. Strangely, though, I have posting a lot more links to my blog through various social channels and I usually see a spike in views. But these past few days it has been really low. Has something changed at WordPress that I should know about? Thanks. Sofia

  Thanks, Sofia. There hasn’t been a change that would cause this sort of thing, but I’m checking with our team now to see if they have any additional information about what happened with your stats. I’ll you know as soon as I get an update from them!

  We checked all of our records for your blog’s stats, and nothing shows any visitors or views from Saturday. I’m not sure why you saw those stats on Saturday — it’s possible that was a glitch.

  If you notice this happen again, please let us know!

  Hi. I think the glitch is that there is a problem with recording stats. I have published 3 posts in the past 7 days and the visits are the lowest they have ever been. This can’t be right. Are there others experiencing this issue? Thanks. Sofia

  Hi Sofia, I haven’t heard any other reports of a stats issue like this, but we’ll keep an eye out!
