Stats – Spam Folder

When I head to my stats page, I can see that I have an item in my spam folder. When I click on the “1 item” link, it takes me directly to my WordPress Blogs I Follow page–it no longer allows me to view the spam in the queue. Is there a fix?

This has also been happening to me. Very odd. Also, in the last two weeks, I am getting enormous amounts of spam, which never happened before in the three years of my blog. Most of it goes safely into the spam folder, but in the last couple of days, more of it seems to be slipping into my Comments folder, requiring me to manually get rid of it.
Is WordPress experiencing increased hacker attacks? Is that why we’re suddenly seeing so many problems?
