Stats – They're useless NOW.

  I wanted to write you privately – but couldn’t easily find a contact – so here we go in the public forum…

  Your stats are useless now. Because visitors read my pages through WordPress, they’re now invisible. I can have a dozen likes and zero visits. What does this info tell me? NOTHING. ZERO feedback. I have no idea whether things are progressing or not. Whether I should continue or quit.

  But I’m sure you’ve heard it all before from others…and you haven’t addressed their issues or concerns. Or maybe you can’t. Whatever. Ugh.

  I’m having weirdness in my stats just since last week. Have they changed the way they figure them? Facebook tells me 378 clicks have been made to my blog post, but WordPress only shows 38. Is this what your talking about? I’m so confused!

  Exactly! I’m getting lots of Facebook hits and maybe 2 visitors. Or a bunch of “likes” and no readers. Impossible to tell what the true traffic is. The weirdness began for me around a month ago. Wondering now if that’s when the new look / new stats began?

  Mine was consistent with FB last week. But now it’s bonkers. I was afraid I had messed with my settings somehow, and that the facebook clicks weren’t coming through. I feel better now. Well, no…I don’t. I want to know my stats.
