Stats with Reader

  Do views on the Reader reflect in the Stats if the viewer doesn’t visit the blog (read on WordPress)? I am using the reader more and find it helpful for blogs I follow but I’m not sure if the Stats is a true reflection of my readers. Are stats from the Reader available, besides notifications?

  Hi there – If a user clicks to expand the reader post into the full post view that launches within the Reader, then that counts to your stats. If they just scan down and don’t click on the post, it doesn’t register a stat view. Does that make sense? :)

  We don’t separate out Reader stats from normal stats, but they show in referrals as a referral from “WordPress.com.”
