There was another thread on the same issue. And I am experiencing this too; since about 8pm last night, in fact. Unless I have really only had one visitor and he read 63 articles.

According to my stats, I only had one (1) visitor in 12 hours, and this person used links in Germany, United States, Greece and Austria! Getting around fast, this guy! :-)
Hope you get the stats fixed soon! Thanks in advance! -

Hey, today my only visitor is still checking out further pages of my website – after using several computers in Germany, USA, Greece and Austria, he now went to Norway.
“Views by country” is still following his international travels …
:-)

I have the same problem–started last evening (central time, US0); the visitors number froze, while the views number began to crawl. woke up this morning to find the visitors stuck at 1; the views seem normal for a saturday morning on my blog.

Same for me. But I don’t mind really. It gives a break from wanting to check if ones blog is followed and successful. People from WordPress will do the job when they’re aware. In the meantime we can all relax! :-)
And thank you WordPress for the good job you do everyday. -

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all of the reports! Our team is aware of the issue and looking into it. This may not be resolved right away as it’s the weekend, but I’ll let you know when I get an update about it.

Same here. Over 500 views and one supremely curious visitor. It’s probably Beep Beep Boop’s fault.

I’m having the same problem. I thought perhaps I had misunderstood the relationship between visitors and views. My previous understanding was that visitors were uniques, and views were what they looked at. What I was afraid of when I saw this was that people were landing on the page, but so briefly that they didn’t count as visitors. Just as an aside, f anyone knows where I can find detailed information about how long someone has to linger on a page in order for it to be counted as a view – and what is wrapped up in that HomePage/Archives number (I’ve always wondered if that is a duplicate count of older posts that are specifically named) I’d appreciate hearing.
