Status of stats during blackout?

  Now that new stats seem to be tracked, the question becomes: what will happen to the stats that occurred during the blackout? Anyone know? Has anyone recovered these stats yet?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Reply from wordpress: I’m sorry. We had a problem with the stats today for several hours. Stats are recording again. We are working on getting the missing stats back into the system. We’ll give an update once we have more information.

  No recovery here yet…and I really have to get those numbers….we grew by almost 50% this week and was even marked as one of the 100 top fastest growing blogs on Wednesday….we’ve been growing by leaps and bounds and I don’t want to lose that progress……has this happened before?

  ctrnash – I responded to you in the other thread. This has happened to me (and, I assume, others) twice before. In both cases, all the stats were recovered. In the blink of an eye, my stats jumped about 800% each time.

  As for today, a staff member did say in a separate thread that it would “take a while” to get everything back into the system. I’m still in a holding pattern as well.

  I was disappointed that it happened today of all days – my blog was featured on the Anchorage Daily Newspaper! I need those stats!

  And I was on the front page of Stumbleupon for a microsecond. But it looks like all the stats will be saved and posted over today.

  my stats are not being recorded as of right now…no recovery…it shows not traffic since at all…

  I’ve been growing like mad too…

  my other stat counters show my traffic but I rely on info about particular posts on wordpress stats entirely!!

  We are disppointed the statistics are not showing correctly yet. We dispute the statistics reflected for yesterday (we presume this is complete) and for today it is not showing correctly again. Please be informed this will have a severe impact amongst our readers. We have temporarily removed all statistics featured from our side bar.
