"Stay" Theme Background/Texture Change and Removal of WordPress Credit Footer

    I need to remove the grayish texture that appears as a background in the “Stay” theme, but I cannot see a place to do it. I’m willing to buy the customization access for $30, but only if I must to make this change, and only if the customization module will allow it. My client doesn’t want any texture – she wants it all white; I’ve been able to apply it to the background, but can’t shake the grayish layers. Also, I must remove the WordPress and theme credit line from the footer of the theme and all pages – I can do CSS, but I want to make sure there is no other way before I buy the customization module. Please advise — thanks!

    You are not allowed to remove or hide the footer credit links. Doing so is a terms of Service violation that will get you blog suspended.

    May I remove the Admin Bar, credit links such as ‘Blog at WordPress.com’, theme, font, or toolbar links?
    All WordPress.com bloggers are required to maintain the Admin Bar (the dark bar that appears at the top of WordPress.com sites when logged in) as well as credit links, even our VIP bloggers. Please do not hide or alter text or links for the footer credits or the toolbar.
