Stay theme bug in the mobile version
-
Hello guys, I discovered another in Stay which I’m currently using to host my photoblog.
Problem
1. My site has an image for a logo which is also clickable, meaning it has the sites url linked to it so once you click it brings you back to the home.
2. When you go on the mobile site, it does not have the same behavior and forces you to hit the Japanese little icon to open up the sites menus. So it seems to me that the css for the mobile site is missing that parameter.
Let me know please.
Cheers,
Jorge -
Howdy!
Thanks much for the detailed report, and for bringing this to our attention. I’ve reported this bug and will let you know when it’s fixed!
Also, you mentioned seeing “the Japanese little icon”, which sounds like another bug to me. Could you take a screenshot of this icon so we can see what you’re seeing? You can find instructions for taking a screenshot here:

There is also another towards the top that I couldn’t get in the screenshot. That one you tap and all the nav bar menus pop out.

Thanks for the screenshot! That’s definitely a bug; can you confirm which browser and browser version you’re using so I can pass this info along? Thank you!

Hi Jorge,
Thanks again for the info — sorry for the delays, we’re still looking into both these issues with Stay. I’ll keep you posted.

Thanks Caroline,
Drop to the team, why not add Flickr in the Social Streams, hotels and resorts add images there as well, way more than Pinterest.
Cheers,
JLPS. In the Chrome Android Browser the chineese symbols are now gone but in UC Broswer they are still there.

Hello Jorge,
We finally fixed the issue regarding the clickable logo on mobile devices.
