Stay theme Home slider

  I am unable to have the home slider (Stay theme) on its own with just the home widgets underneath it – instead the only way I can even get the slider showing is if I select a home static page (Settings > Reading) and this static page is one of the featured ones in the slider. The site looks nothing like on the Stay theme’s picture. Please advise if you can how I can have the slider without any pages underneath it. Many thanks, maja

  (Yes, you create an intro page, select the Home template for it, set the blog front to display that page; no, you don’t include that page in the ones you’ll add to the slider.)

  I actually did use the page you provide the link for to guide me but obviously misunderstood the instructions – thanks again!
