Stay theme home slider not working, all pages appear on home

    Hi there, I am having trouble with the Stay theme home page slider. I have followed the directions at the theme page, but the slider is not working and doesn’t appear to even be integrated into the theme. The pages and featured images appear below instead of sliding. I believe I have set the home page up correctly and referenced the slider pages as well. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you, Jenny

    That site is a WordPress.ORG install using the WordPress>ORG version of the theme. This is the WordPress.com support forum. We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG software here. You are posting to the wrong support forum. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

    Hello I am experiencing the same problem with the stay theme, I have followed all the instructions and cannot get the homepage to feature the slider http://thiviershotel.com. Please advise. I am using wordpress and have paid for the upgrade.

    You need to set the blog front to display the right page. Go to Settings > Reading, select the option Front page displays > A static page, select the page you’ve titled “Home” from the Front page pulldown, scroll down and click Save Changes.

    Then you’ll need to correct your top menu, but we’ll see about that after you fix your homepage.

    I too could not have my Home Slider showing. I did as “justpi” suggested, but then no posts were shown underneath, it was simply the page set to static. . Help?

    a) “Home Slider” and “posts underneath” are two irrelevant issues.
    b) We can’t help without the URL of the blog in question.
