Stay theme images double up when using slider

  I’ve followed the theme instructions re setting the Home page template and setup the home slider with featured images.

  However, I now get a double-up of the images e.g., the Home page image is positioned below the image on the slider. Not sure what to do next to remove it.

  Hi there,

  The slider on the Home template of Stay is not intended to link to itself. I would recommend creating a new page, called ‘Home’ (or something along those lines), assigning it the Home page template, and then linking to ‘Welcome’ (without the Home page template) and ‘Get in Touch’.

  Hi – I am a newbie here so I hope it’s ok that I am asking this question. I am having trouble activating the home slider feature. I have followed instructions on creating the home page template (created 3 pages with pics I want to be sliding) and chose them under “customize” menu but can’t still see it on my home page.   Please start your own thread. Your question here has nothing to do with the Stay theme: it’s much more efficient for us volunteers to have individual threads on the same topic. Plus it makes the forums easier for others to search for previous answers.

  Cainm, I appreciate you taking the time to answer the question, but can you clarify please? I have the same problem with the featured pictures of the home slider showing twice on my front page.
