Stay theme: sidebars
-
I am think of changing my blog to the Stay theme so I can have two sidebars. The pages format has one sidebar each side, but the posts format has both sidebars on the right.
Is there any way to gat the posts format the same as the page format, with one sidebar each side?
I intend purchasing the custom design upgrade, if that would make it possible.
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve done a few quick tests and I think that could be done with CSS. When you’re ready, you could post in the CSS customization forum for help with the specific code.

I have the minnow theme. The sidebar at the top has an icon with three horizontal lines that you click on and your sidebar comes into view and disappears when you log back in. This to me is a hidden sidebar. For all intent and purpose I would like this sidebar to show all the time. Is there a way to do this.

Opening the sidebar on the Minnow theme partially obscures any post or page your on when you open it. I’m pretty sure you don’t want that result. Why not try another theme with an unhidden sidebar or two?

@ thespiritkeepers,
I should have said, “I’m pretty sure you don’t want that result all the time,” which is what you’ve suggested.
For all intent and purpose I would like this sidebar to show all the time.

Thank you for your reply. No I don’t want the posts pushed to the left any further. With another theme will I lose all my data?

No data loss will occur. Widgets might be inactivated. Options and special features on one theme may not be present on the next. See the forum topic “If current theme changed, some setting lost.”
