staying signed in and doing 'likes' on custom domain accounts
-
I’m trying to press ‘like’ on posts on custom domain WordPress blogs. It works fine on WordPress.com blogs. But after I cleared my browser cache I can’t do that on the custom domain ones, mygroovyblog.com type ones. I can press likes including on comments on regular wordpress.com blogs. But when I try to on custom domain ones The like button changes color, the blue line of a browser page loading starts then stops. And my Gravatar does not show up next to the like button. When I try to like comments the little star changes color, the browser page loading begins and stops. The star stays yellow but it doesn’t change to say ‘liked by you and three other people’. When I go to the leave a comment box my Gravatar isn’t already there as it is on WordPress.com sites. It seems that despite being logged into my WordPress.com account the private domain ones do not register that I am logged in. When I leave a comment I have to login after I have typed it, the comment then disappears. But shows up later presumably after the host has moderated it. So I can’t see my comment while it is awaiting moderation. Which you usually can. In other words it allows me to be signed in for the couple seconds it takes for the comment to be registered. Then it signs me out again. But only on that blog, I’m still signed in on the regular wordpress.com blogs. my blog is petuniacat.wordpress.com
