steadiest blogs

I am wondering if we can include a new category “steadiest blogs” on dashboard among the “best, fastest… blogs”. What kinds of criteria would be pertinent? What minimum number of posts per week? What minimum hits per day. Any other combinations of criteria? I think the most stable and steady bloggers are the most interesting to read.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m not sure what you mean by “steady bloggers”. Most bloggers do post frequently but if you are suggesting that frequency ought to be a selection factor for being featured in Freshly Pressed then I disagree.

I find that bloggers who post only when they have developed a comprehensive and meaningful post, that demonstrates they have done extensive research and included backlinks in their posts to related posts in other authoritative blogs, need more of a promotional boost, than so those who frequently publish short posts that demonstrate no research has been done and no backlinks to relevant posts in authortative blogs have been included. IMHO the former know how to blog and the latter either don’t know or don’t care to learn how quality posts are constructed.

    What minimum hits per day.

Please read this question I asked and the answer I received immediately below to it from Staff: http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2010/04/28/five-ways-to-get-featured-on-freshly-pressed/#comment-88625

Good point timethief. While I do feel that a certain regularity in posting is important it can’t be the decisive factor. Inspiration might refuse to come, research into a certain topic might be harder than planned etc.

As to the hits per day – surely those come into consideration for the top and fastest growing category?
