steep increase in price for premium themes?

Am I missing something here or did premium themes just rocket in price? a few days ago I was looking at themes prices around $69 but all of a sudden the $ has turned to £ and the price is around £60. What is going on?
I dont think this is a technical fault because the $ has been the usual currency for a while.
Oh well that’s my budget out the window

I don’t know what you are on about because there has not been a dramatic across the board increase in Premium Theme pricing at WordPress.COM. I see premium theme prices starting at $18. US https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sort/premium/ and all premium themes are a one time purchase for the life of the blog while hosted by WordPress.COM. http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/premium-themes/ -

Perhaps you’re seeing a change in the currency which ‘seems’ like a price increase? The prices have not changed like @timethief said.
