Steps to close one site from wordpress out of two

  hi i hv created two sites in wordpress.com but now i want to close my one website, how can in do that

  Hi there,

  To delete one of the sites, go to My Sites >> Switch Site >> Select the site.

  Next, go to My Site >> Settings >> General >> Scroll down and click on Delete your site permanently and follow the prompts.

  Please note that deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).

  Hi @palbisingh1211 – If you also have content on both sites that you want to merge into one site, you can follow the two steps below before using the instructions above to delete the site.

  1. Export the content out of the site you wish to delete: https://wordpress.com/support/export/

  2. Import it into the site you wish to keep: https://wordpress.com/support/import/
