"Stick to the front page posts" don't appear in Archives

I found that using “stick to the front page” feature makes my sticked posts not visible in Archves / Tag categories. These posts are only visible at the top of the front page. I think that this may be a bug.

I can see your first sticky post starting with the text, Gdzie najlepiej kupić dom, in both the Dobre rady category page and in the Mieszkania pod Poznaniem tag page (2nd post in this page) .
I noticed similar result in my test site as well.
Please let me know if you found something different that made you think this is a potential bug?

Please take a look at the second sticky post – “Gdzie warto mieszkać? Skórzewo – gmina Dopiewo”.
The post is attached to:
– Analiza miejscowości – not visible in the category
– bogata infrastruktura – not visible in tag category
– gmina Dopiewo – visible in tag category
– Mieszkania pod Poznaniem – not visible in tak category -
I see what you were saying. You are correct, some posts were missing as you mentioned in the categories page and tags page.
I tagged this post for staff’s attention. Hopefully they will confirm whether it is a bug or there is something we are missing.

@555malecki – I believe this is a bug related to infinite scroll. Can you turn that off here?

You’ll want to uncheck the option for “Scroll infinitely.” Let me know if that fixes the issue! If it does, we’ll get that fixed up.

Turning off the Infinite scroll did not fix the issue.
The post “Gdzie warto mieszkać? Gmina Suchy Las – jest dobrze, będzie lepiej” that is sticked to the front page at the moment doesn’t appear at “Analiza miejscowości” category.

Hi @555malecki – I just took another look here. Currently, you have the following post “stuck” on your homepage: “Gdzie warto mieszkać? Gmina Tarnowo Podgórne – „Poziom wyżej”.” That post is appearing on the category page here:

Sorry – I completely missed that one! Can you try marking it as unsticky and seeing if that causes it to show up in the category archive? I’m a bit stumped as the other sticky posts are appearing in their respective category archives.

Progress! One more test – could you again mark it as sticky and see if it appears in the category page still?

Hi, the post “Gdzie warto mieszkać? Gmina Suchy Las – jest dobrze, będzie lepiej” is marked as sticky and is not now visible in the category.

Hi @555malecki,
This is an odd bug indeed. It seems like sticky posts past a certain age are not displayed in archive pages. I’ve passed this along to our theme developers so we can figure out why this is the case. I’ll keep this thread updated with what I find out!
@blanklibra – If you have a particular question, please post it in a new thread.
