  what is a sticky….one of my postings has a sticky and it remains the top posting shown on my blog site despite having published a new posting …how do i unstick it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sticky means that it will always be the first post that anyone sees on your site’s blog page.

  You can remove that post’s sticky designation by going to your site’s blog posts at https://wordpress.com/posts/mk4567blog.wordpress.com and looking for the “sticky” flag. Open that post to edit it and at the upper right click on the orange/read flag to “unstick” it. Remember to click “Update” to update your post.
