    Hi,

I’m pleased to hear you love the new editor :)

I have been having a issue as I’ve tried to use a sticky blog to keep at the top of my blog page

I can’t see any sticky posts on your site; would you mind creating one so I can see what happens?

however when I do it putd the picture and title of that blog on the top of my welcome page aswell..

Welcome has a parent page of ‘Blog’ — so it’s likely this is the issue. In the Page Attributes module to the left of the editor for the Welcome page, try making that page ‘top level’. This will remove the connection between the Welcome page and the Blog.

Let me know when you’ve added a sticky post and I’ll take a look at what is happening.

Thank you for the quick response.. I’ve tried the setting but hasn’t made a difference. I’ve made the post I first intended in the blog as a sticky so you can see what it does to the welcome page…

    Hi,

Thanks for doing that for me.

The front page of this theme has a Featured Content area where you can choose up to six posts to display in a grid or slider:

    https://ssccgroup.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php/

There isn’t a way to turn off the Featured Content area and when there are no posts tagged with ‘featured’, a sticky post is displayed there instead. So that is why it is appearing on your Welcome page.

I’m going to do some testing and see if there is a workaround. I’ll keep you posted!
