"Sticky" featured not working

I LOVE this theme.
Yesterday I was able to set one of my posts as “sticky” to the front page. Later I went back and the static front page had returned. I’ve tried to reset it without success.
Thoughts?

I’m guessing, you might have seen the preview under the customizer and wasn’t able to save your changes, I also had that mistake from the past. I believe you want to show all your blog posts and want those ticked as sticky on top of the list? If yes:
1) Please got to your customizer (you can also access it from this link: https://wordpress.com/customize)
2) Select Static front page & choose “Your latest posts” illustrated in this screenshot: https://cloudup.com/c76x05yyQCU
3) Don’t forget to “save & publish”Otherwise, please ask and provide further details regarding the issue and we’re happy to help :)

Hi Carl. I only wanted to select ONE blog to stick to the home page–not all. I only selected one. How do I do that?

currentwater – let’s try to clarify a couple of things:
the static front page had returned
Your site at currentwater.co is currently set to display your blog posts. It’s not a static page.
I can see that your sticky post titled “Welcome to Current Water” is being displayed first, before the others. This is what’s expected when you sticky a post – it appears before the rest of your posts.
