Sticky for blog posts not working
-
Hi Everyone,
For the theme that I am using, I am trying to have it so that the three blog posts that I have stay on the front page as it is currently displayed. However, when I write a new blog post I don’t want them to show up on the homepage.
I’ve stickied the three posts on the main page, but when I write a new blog post it replaces on of the blogs on the front page even though they are stickied.
Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix this?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can sticky more than one post, but different themes may treat those stickied posts differently.
In most themes, sticky post are displayed first on the blog index, followed by your other posts.
You are using a premium theme which has a special front-page template, which does not not seem to differentiate between sticky and non-sticky posts – it simply displays your latest posts. You can modify the number of posts displayed there in the Customizer > Theme > Blog.

This is done automatically by Swell’s custom front page template, which may not treat sticky posts differently than non-sticky posts.
If you’d like to ask the Swell developer whether there’s any workaround for this, you can post in the Swell forum:
